Where are we going?
Glacier National Park is located in Montana, also known as Big Sky Country. Montana is right below Canada, and it's as close to Canada as I'm ever likely to get again!
When are we going?
Glaciers are cold! Do you want to be cold? We don't. That's why we're booking for the end of July 2020!

 Going-to-the-Sun Road is one of the most well-known parts of GNP. Rocks fell on a car in 2019 and killed someone, but that was the first time that's happened since 1996, so we'll probably be fine. |

Things to Do?
There are lots of things to do in Glacier National Park! Here is a concise list!
Hiking - With over 700 miles of trails we'll surely have to take care of our feet afterwards! Hike Lake McDonald, Many Glacier, North Fork, St. Mary, and more! All of your favorite hikes in one (warm) place!
Kayaking - Remember those (not cold looking) pictures from earlier of the McDonald lake? It's 10 miles long and full of water, perfect for kayaking!
Drinking - Enjoy some craft brews from local breweries like Kalispell (did I spell it right, lol?) Brewery, Bias Brewing, and more. All located in the cozy town of Kalispell, MT
Wildlife Spotting - 71 Mammals, 276 Birds, 6 Amphibians, and more. A variety of life! Will you be the first to spot a wolverine? Not the X-Man!!

If we go right now, it's really cheap! These prices are for the end of July, but could even come down if we book in the sunny month of June!

GLACIERS ARE MELTING
In 1966, the park had 35 named glaciers large enough to be considered active. By 2015, only 26 named glaciers remained. The average area reduction was 39 percent, though some lost as much as 85 percent. This trend of glacier retreat is expected to continue as temperatures rise.
